While many skiers will choose a winter break focussed predominantly around the piste facilities, others will also factor in the après ski opportunities that are part of their chosen resort. For many, the après ski facilities are almost as important as the skiing itself, giving them a perfect environment to relax after a day on the slopes, socialising, making friends and enjoying the atmosphere. The après ski scene depends largely on the resort you choose, with some offering a relative tranquillity compared with others that pride themselves on their lively resort. As far as a Soldeu ski holiday is concerned, you have the best of both worlds. Après ski is probably the most popular in the Alps, where the bars at the bottom of the slopes are jam packed with skiers stopping for a beverage after their stint on the slopes while still donning their salopettes and boots.  Although predominantly an Alpine thing, it’s not unheard of elsewhere and Andorra has built quite the reputation for it
