A Romantic Getaway in New York City

When my fiancé and I were looking for options on where we would go for our honeymoon, we finally settled on New York. Neither of us had ever been there and we thought it would be exciting. We found out that 'The city that never sleeps' is regarded as one of the most romantic destinations in the world and this is what sealed the decision for us. After our small wedding, we flew to New York for ten days of honeymoon bliss.

We went straight to our hotel to freshen up. We found a great site and booked our New York hotel in advance. We had a spring wedding and we knew that New York as we knew that the spring and summer season would prove hard to get a good hotel room. We had planned to do as much as possible and see as much as we could especially since we heard that New York never ever sleeps. However, we were pleasantly surprised that our hotel room was quite quiet and we were able to get the rest we needed.

The first day we went to the Empire State building at night and that is a sight to behold. My husband is scared of heights but he did not even notice how high we went as we got to the 86th floor. There is an observatory with an outdoor deck where you can see the beautiful New York night skyline. The breathtaking view was further enhanced
by a live Jazz saxophonist. For us, this was one of the most romantic things we did in the city.

We also watched two Broadway shows as my husband and I are theater lovers. We also had a chance to go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, popularly known as the Met. After our afternoon stroll through the gallery which had fascinating art work on display, my husband surprised me by taking me to the rooftop of the museum. I was not expecting it since I didn't even know there was a rooftop area we could go. The Rooftop café and martini bar has a panoramic view of the Manhattan area in New York. We sipped cocktails as we watched the sunset.

My husband really loves Jon Stewart and because the tickets run out very quickly, I was able to get two tickets online. The day we were going I didn't tell him where we were going and to see the look on his face when we reached at the studio was simply precious. I think that was his favorite thing during the whole honeymoon period. A bonus was that our friends got to see us on TV.

Because the weather was warm, we were able to attend many outdoor activities and walking in the city. We also went to Times Square which was as breathtaking as we had imagined. As our honeymoon came to an end, we decided to spend it relaxing in our luxurious hotel room and eating in romantic eateries such as Boathouse restaurant in Central park and after that we took a boat ride.

Angelica Zambrano is Dead For 23 Hours, Taken To Heaven and Hell, Sent Back With A Message

Please share this good message by our Lord Jesus Christ. For a period of 23 hours, a young Ecuadorian girl named Angelica was shown the Kingdoms of Heaven and Hell, and the Return of Christ. She witnessed Jesus weeping as He overlooked multitudes of souls lost forever, a world that has rejected Him, a Church that is mostly unprepared for Him, a people that have stopped witnessing to the lost, and an entertainment industry that even lures children to Satan. She witnessed many of our esteemed cultural icons suffering in the Pit; singers, entertainers, and even a pope. Angelica was also shown how the Kingdom of Heaven is all wonderfully prepared and ready, an unimaginable glorious place, where no evil exists. Though Jesus is ONLY coming back for a Holy People, and many
