Walt Disney World Orlando.
Being that one of the best places to go during an RV vacation is an RV campground, some of our recommendations will be centered around that theme. If you have your kids or grandchildren with you, consider taking them to one of the campsites at the Fort Wilderness Resort. Not are they close to the theme park, but they also sit on over 750 acres of grassland.
Yellowstone National Park.
One place that is considered to be a traditional vacation spot for those who take road trips is Yellowstone. That's because it's hailed as being the top national park in the United States. So, if you're close to Montana (or you don't mind making the drive), you're bound to have a once in a lifetime experience. Being that live game lives in the park, you might even see a bear or two.
Hershey Highmeadow Campground.
Who doesn't like chocolate? If you choose this particular campground, you'll only be a few miles away from the Hershey Amusement Park (in Hershey, Pennsylvania). The campground sits on 55 acres and there are all kind of
activities including two pools for swimming, a game room and playground.
Rogue River RV Park. If you love to fish, then you might want to go on over to Outdoor Grove so that you can order whatever you need to maintenance your RV before taking it all the way to Shady Cove, Oregon. This little town is approximately 52 miles from Crater Lake---a place that is known to have plenty of salmon and steelhead fishing at your disposal. A lot of people who enjoy fishing have found this to be one of their favorite locations, hands down.
O'Connell's Yogi Bear Jellystone Park Camp Resort. If you want a "camp feel" that still has a ton of modern accommodations, then this park (in Amboy, Illinois) would definitely be the park for you. There's water and electric hookups, game rooms, miniature golf and heated pools and also WiFi. Plus, if you have a night when you would like to sleep in a space away from the RV, there are also a few cabins and cottages that are on site.
