Keeping Your Laptop and Cell Phone Safe When You Travel

Travel Tips, Gadgets, Cancun

When you decide it's time to set out and see the world, a big part of the planning process likely involves how you're going to keep your stuff safe. If you're like the rest of the world, you're going to want to document and experience your trip to the utmost of your ability. You're probably also going to want to have a way to stay connected with the world around you, find the things you need, and stay in touch with the people you love. Heck, you might even be looking to verbally document your travels, by writing a book or posting to a blog as you go along. Plenty of these things can be done on the cheap, but Internet cafes in foreign countries and cheap cameras don't always get the job done. Sometimes we simply need to bring expensive equipment with us when we're traveling, whether it's a hardcore, globetrotting adventure or simply a trip to Cancun with the spouse and kids. Keeping your values safe is a priority no matter what, and having the right strategy can help you avoid any added stress while you're out trying to
enjoy yourself and see the great big world.

Smaller items are nice because you can easily keep them safe in your pockets and on your person. This is great for security, but some of the world's most accomplished thieves have gotten past this and can easily pickpocket the unsuspecting tourist. If you're carrying along things like your wallet, passport, and even something like an expensive smartphone or digital camera, you can buy equipment that will essentially wrap around your midsection (using Velcro) to hold your sensitive items. Essentially a giant band with pockets, this will keep your sensitive materials under your shirt and your arms, where nobody can possibly get to them without your noticing.

Always take advantage of your hotel safe. Never leave things like your laptop out in the open in your hotel room, no matter how safe you might think the area is or how nice the hotel accommodations might seem. This isn't important because people aren't to be trusted -- it's important because you must build the right habits, no matter where you're vacationing. This is especially true for those who travel frequently. It's imperative that you build the right habits so you can keep your things safe each and every time.

Furthermore, have your laptop's information -- serial numbers and other pertinent data -- written down and accessible so you can give them to the authorities if they're stolen. There are also a number of laptop GPS tracking software options available for both Mac and PC that can help you recover a stolen computer in the blink of an eye. Of course, things like a screen protector and keyboard cover will help your things stay looking nice, but your ultimate goal is to make sure they all stay in your possession, as well. With the few strategies we've talked about, you'll have no problem making sure your expensive computer and cell phones will stay safe and secure.

Angelica Zambrano is Dead For 23 Hours, Taken To Heaven and Hell, Sent Back With A Message

Please share this good message by our Lord Jesus Christ. For a period of 23 hours, a young Ecuadorian girl named Angelica was shown the Kingdoms of Heaven and Hell, and the Return of Christ. She witnessed Jesus weeping as He overlooked multitudes of souls lost forever, a world that has rejected Him, a Church that is mostly unprepared for Him, a people that have stopped witnessing to the lost, and an entertainment industry that even lures children to Satan. She witnessed many of our esteemed cultural icons suffering in the Pit; singers, entertainers, and even a pope. Angelica was also shown how the Kingdom of Heaven is all wonderfully prepared and ready, an unimaginable glorious place, where no evil exists. Though Jesus is ONLY coming back for a Holy People, and many
