Lapa (Re de Janeiro). If architecture and deep-rooted culture is your thing, then Lapa is your place. It has a great reputation for being the "it" spot for the Arts as well as for having a wonderful nightlife scene. From an architectural perspective, make sure to stop by and check out the Metropolitan Cathedral of Rio. It is a huge cone-shaped building that stands, literally, in the center of the city.

Salvador da Bahia. Known as the "capital of happiness" in Brazil, Salvador da Bahia is an ideal place to put on some of your authentic Brazil clothing to go out and in enjoy some of the city's cuisine, dancing and artistry. This place has also earned the reputation for having the largest street party on the planet. Each year, about 2,000,000 people are in
attendance.

Iguazu Falls. If you love waterfalls, then you're literally going to fall in love with the Iguaza Falls. They are so breathtaking that they are actually claimed by both Brazil as well as Argentina. To date, they are considered to be some of the most massive waterfalls in the entire world. They split into roughly 250 smaller waterfalls and are absolutely breathtaking amidst the landscape of the cliffs and beautiful green land that surround them.

Sao Paulo. A more modern location is Sao Paulo. It is a city that holds over a staggering 11,000,000 people. Although it's definitely not one of the more traditional places to go in Brazil, if you are a person who enjoys being a part of the hustle and bustle of life, even while on vacation, Sao Paulo will certainly not disappoint. Aside from being known for being the largest city in the Americas and also having the biggest public transit system in the entire world, it also has great food and culture that will make Brazil an experience you absolutely will never forget.
