The Perfect Cancun Adventure: Blending Jungle Tours and Mayan Sites

Cancun is unlike anywhere else in the world. It’s one of the world’s premier party destinations, but it’s also an incredible place for people who want to experience a bit of true culture. If you love nature, the jet ski jungle tours will blow your mind. If you’re a fan of architecture, archaeology or history, the Mayan sites will leave you breathless. For a perfect Cancun adventure, blend both of these experiences together.

Jet Ski Jungle Tours

What are jet ski jungle tours?

It’s when you and a friend are given a jet ski and guided through the jungle’s rivers while riding your ski. You’ll be able to see all kinds of birds and wildlife as you coast through the jungle for dozens of miles. You’ll see all kinds of lush greenery and even see subtle changes in different parts of the ecosystem as you travel the many miles along the river.

Your guide will keep the tours going at a safe yet adventurous pace. If you want to ski faster or slower, just let your guide know. Your guide will take you to all the most interesting places the jungle has to offer and point out unique sites or animals as you pass by them.

Generally these jungle tours are done in pairs. In other words, you’ll be doing the tour with a friend or a significant other. Going on an adventure like this is a great way for two people to bond and get to know each other better.

These jet ski jungle tours are extremely affordable, especially by American standards. In the states, an adventure like
this would easily cost several hundred dollars. In Cancun, it’s much, much less.

The jet ski jungle tour combines the best of adventurism with eco-tourism. The jet skis are very environmentally friendly and many companies will require that you wear biodegradable sunscreen for you to be allowed to ride through the jungle on one of their jet skis.

If you’re going on the jet ski adventure, make sure that you’re a competent swimmer. It’s quite common for people to fall off their jet skis at least once during the adventure. It doesn’t hurt and there’s no danger as the ski will automatically shut off should you fall. However, it’s still essential that you’re able to swim should you want to do the jet ski tour.

Explore the Mayan Sites

The Mayan sites in Cancun are truly a sight to behold. Some of these sites are so well preserved that it looks like the Mayans just left town a year ago. The most famous sites include the Chichen Itza, Coba, Ek Balam, San Gervasio, Tulum, XCaret and Xel-Ha.

Most notable of the sights is the Chichen Itza, the most famous Mayan site on the planet. It was built in 445 B.C, more than 2,000 years ago. In 1204 A.D. the entire Chichen Itza was completely abandoned. To date, archeologists and historians have been unable to really say why the Mayans left in such a hurry.

The most famous structure in the Chichen Itza is the Temple of Kukulcan. You’ve probably heard of the mathematical miracles of the Mayans. This template is one of the best examples of this. It uses lights and shadows to predict the exact days of spring and fall. You can still see this interplay of light till this very day.

Another famous Mayan site is Tulum. It’s about an hour to an hour and a half away from Cancun by car. Not only is it an amazing Mayan site, but it’s also a fantastic viewpoint for the Caribbean.

Tulum is widely considered to be a site for holy and important ceremonies by the Mayans. The castle in Tulum is an incredible beauty to look at. It stands at the edge of a cliff, majestic and grand. It’s widely believed to have been one of the earliest lighthouses in the world.

There are quite a number of Mayan sites available for viewing all within two hours driving distance from Cancun.

If you want to enjoy an incredible adventure while learning about the world, try blending both the jungle ski tours and the Mayan site tours. It’ll be a vacation you never forget.

Angelica Zambrano is Dead For 23 Hours, Taken To Heaven and Hell, Sent Back With A Message

Please share this good message by our Lord Jesus Christ. For a period of 23 hours, a young Ecuadorian girl named Angelica was shown the Kingdoms of Heaven and Hell, and the Return of Christ. She witnessed Jesus weeping as He overlooked multitudes of souls lost forever, a world that has rejected Him, a Church that is mostly unprepared for Him, a people that have stopped witnessing to the lost, and an entertainment industry that even lures children to Satan. She witnessed many of our esteemed cultural icons suffering in the Pit; singers, entertainers, and even a pope. Angelica was also shown how the Kingdom of Heaven is all wonderfully prepared and ready, an unimaginable glorious place, where no evil exists. Though Jesus is ONLY coming back for a Holy People, and many
