Hong Kong Trip 2011 - Day 2 Shopping at Sham Shui Po and Citygate Outlets

Second day in Hong Kong

All of us decided to go shopping first on the second day of our stay in Hong Kong. What's shopping without Hong Kong dollars? Together with Jazz, from Sai Kung we went to Frankie Money Changer in Worlwide Plaza located at Central. It is better to exchange US dollars than Peso to Hong Kong dollars when you go to Hong Kong. The exchange rate we got was HK$7.7 for US$1.

We went to Sham Shui Po after to check gadgets in Golden Computer Arcade. If you are looking for gaming consoles, computer peripherals and accessories for laptop, iPod touch, iPhone and iPad, then this is the best place. We tried to canvass for iPad 2 which has just been released in US only.
Some shops are already selling it but for higher price. We also checked shops for wholesale clothes along the street. Here you can also buy a top for HK$10 or skirt for only HK$20.

Our nephew, Robbie was looking for a DSLR camera so we went to Wan Chai Computer Mall at Hennessy road. He bought Nikon D90 which is cheaper than ours that we bought in Hidalgo Quiapo a year ago. This is where we bought our Macro-Wide lens for HK$1000 on our first trip in Hong Kong October last year.

We headed to Citygate Outlets after to shop more. If you want branded clothes and shoes, never miss this place at Tung Chung where most of the items here are on sale! There's also Fortress inside, since no chance to buy iPad 2 in Hong Kong because of higher price, we just bought iPad instead. If you haven't been to Ngong Ping 360 you may schedule these 2 places in 1 day since they are both in Tung Chung.

Many world travelers pick up pieces of their destinations and bring them home. For some people this could mean adopting a new style of dress or picking up trinkets from the local bazaar, while others will try their hand at learning the language or cooking traditional recipes when they return home. But one thing you may not notice is that visiting another country and culture has shifted your design sensibilities. So if you're looking for worldly inspiration before you start your home renovation, here are a few locales you may want to add to your travel list. 1. Rome, Italy. If you're looking for something stately a...

Angelica Zambrano is Dead For 23 Hours, Taken To Heaven and Hell, Sent Back With A Message

Please share this good message by our Lord Jesus Christ. For a period of 23 hours, a young Ecuadorian girl named Angelica was shown the Kingdoms of Heaven and Hell, and the Return of Christ. She witnessed Jesus weeping as He overlooked multitudes of souls lost forever, a world that has rejected Him, a Church that is mostly unprepared for Him, a people that have stopped witnessing to the lost, and an entertainment industry that even lures children to Satan. She witnessed many of our esteemed cultural icons suffering in the Pit; singers, entertainers, and even a pope. Angelica was also shown how the Kingdom of Heaven is all wonderfully prepared and ready, an unimaginable glorious place, where no evil exists. Though Jesus is ONLY coming back for a Holy People, and many
