Hong Kong Trip 2011 - Day 1 Manila to Hong Kong

Flight Details: March 13, 2011 at 4:40PM 5J118
Manila Terminal 3 to Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1

We booked our second trip to Hong Kong last October 2010 via Cebu Pacific Air website. Our great fondness for Hong Kong started only just last year, month of October when we had a chance to take our first out of the country vacation. We love Hong Kong for many reasons, the scenic views, shopping is cheap, cold weather, long walk, no traffic, a must try street foods, pet dogs roaming around and noodles.

From Ate Jen's house in Paranaque we arrived at NAIA Terminal 3 at 2PM together with our niece Jazz, Nanay (Mely B.) and Tatay (Joe B.). After paying for travel tax, we checked in our 70kgs luggage.

Mely B. Joe B. and Jazz

While waiting for departure we walked around to check for hotspot area, err the free WiFi didn't work! Spotted Seattle's Best Coffee and ordered iced and blended Chocolate JavaKula, the order took 30 minutes. Passengers were already boarding so we just brought our drinks inside the plane.

Arrived at Hong Kong with 19 degrees temperature, immigration official looked at Jazz and to her passport
twice or thrice, maybe because her passport picture looks younger than in person. Immediately we checked the balance of our Octopus card that we used last year, to our dismay the card showed a negative balance, we thought we could still use the HK$50 deposit. What's even worser was when the cashier didn't let us to buy a new card!

Decided to take MTR instead of bus to avoid Mely B. and Joe B. take the long walk at Ping Shek to Sai Kung Bus Station.

The Best Places to Travel for Home Design Inspiration

When people travel to foreign locales they tend to come home with a lot more than a camera full of pics and a suitcase festooned with bedbugs. Many world travelers pick up pieces of their destinations and bring them home. For some people this could mean adopting a new style of dress or picking up trinkets from the local bazaar, while others will try their hand at learning the language or cooking traditional recipes when they return home. So if you're looking for worldly inspiration before you start your home renovation, here are a few locales you may want to add to your travel list. 1. Rome, Italy. If you're looking for something stately a...

Angelica Zambrano is Dead For 23 Hours, Taken To Heaven and Hell, Sent Back With A Message

Please share this good message by our Lord Jesus Christ. For a period of 23 hours, a young Ecuadorian girl named Angelica was shown the Kingdoms of Heaven and Hell, and the Return of Christ. She witnessed Jesus weeping as He overlooked multitudes of souls lost forever, a world that has rejected Him, a Church that is mostly unprepared for Him, a people that have stopped witnessing to the lost, and an entertainment industry that even lures children to Satan. She witnessed many of our esteemed cultural icons suffering in the Pit; singers, entertainers, and even a pope. Angelica was also shown how the Kingdom of Heaven is all wonderfully prepared and ready, an unimaginable glorious place, where no evil exists. Though Jesus is ONLY coming back for a Holy People, and many
